About Dana

My Dream (going by memory)

Dana starts talking and I wake up and see her on my other bed.

Brian- Who are you?

Dana- you know who I am silly (with a huge smile) its dana

Brian-(in shock because it seems so real) o my gosh! How are you doing? And why are you here?

Dana- I am great, I feel so good and I just needed to talk to some one about everything. I feel the best I have ever felt I have my hair back and no more chemotherapy or anything like that it is better where I am but I miss you and the family and every one a lot

Brian- Wow Dana that is so great I'm so happy you aren’t going through any more pain or anything like that.

Dana- So how is Bob and every one handling this?

Brian- (almost in tears) They are taking this very hard right now. Dad has cried every day ever since your death. He is lonely with out you and I have never seen him like this before. He loved you sooo much. Your mom also took this very hard at the memorial service she spoke and she couldn’t stop the tears from falling. Every one who ever knew you misses you and wish you were here. We all miss you dearly.

Dana- (stunned) Tell Bob he was the most amazing person she has ever met and I love him so much. Also tell him I am doing fine and I will be here waiting for him when he’s ready. If you can please tell every one I am in a better place and miss all of them. Tell my mom she was so helpful to me there near the end in may and tell her I am feeling great

Brian- I will tell every one everything. My dad is going to be in tears when I tell him this. He will be very glad to know you are doing good and so will every 1 else. Dana why did you come and talk to me instead of any one else?

Dana- Brian over the past 2-2 ½ years I have connected with you so well and you and I have been able to talk about everything to each other. You helped me live as long as I did. You gave me the chance to be a mother to you and Christopher. And for that I am so thankful. That card and present you gave me for mothers day might have been one of the best presents any one could have given me. The card and present touched me. Brian you are a special boy and you have a long healthy life ahead of you

Dana gets up and so do I and we hug for a long time

Brian-(while hugging) Dana please don’t go? (in tears)

Dana- Brian I have to go (also in tears)

Brian- I have one question and favor…will you please visit my dad in his dreams soon?

Dana- I will, I will do that very soon

We finish hugging and I give her a kiss on the cheek

Brian- thank you soo much Dana, I’m so glad I know how you are

Dana- I have to go now Brian, I love you!

Brian- Bye Dana! I love you too

I blink and she is gone and I’m awake laying under my covers in my bed.

Observations

Dana was sitting on my bed opposite of me

Dana was so pretty, she had her real hair, and she had her favorite bracelet, and her favorite ball necklace on. She was wearing a long white robe the ones we have at our house. Her hair looked like some of the wigs she would wear. (it looked like) She did not have any makeup on and you could see the birthmark on her face. She was so beautiful.

Dana and I were both sitting up on our beds with our legs hanging over the side.
