Dana and I would sit and talk about Ricky Martin on many occasions. When he won his first Grammy a few years ago, it made our conversations even better. One day I was checking my mail and I received this nice package. I opened it up and it was a picture of Ricky Martin. There was a note attached to it and it read: "La Vida Cindy! You were great last night! Love Ricky" . I knew immediately who it was from so I called Dana. Being her good-humored self, she acted like it wasn't from her. The funny part to the both of us was that the notepaper she had written the message on was on United Way paper. So when she kept insisting that it wasn't from her I asked her if Ricky happed to be a United Way contributor since that was what the note was written on. We both had a huge laugh at that. It might not be funny to everyone else but it is a funny moment for me.
